Commentary

The script of this inscription is comparable to that of K. 854 and K. 863.

The space dividing the text in two columns indicates that the text is composed in verse, probably in Anuṣṭubh metre.

Utpannakeśāna mentioned in line 1 is the name of the main deity of Phnom Bayang and Yaśovarmman in line 3 is that of the king ruling in Angkor in the late 9th century CE.
