Current Version:  draft, 2023-11-08Z

Editor:   George Cœdès.

DHARMA Identifier: INSCIK00052

Hand Description:

According to George Cœdès (1937-1966: volume 6, page 93), the akṣaras are inelegant and careless, with shallow lines. This sussgests that they were of the first trace before receiving the definitive engraving. Some akṣaras which were engraved more deeply, are more careful in the rounded caracteristic shape of the begining of the 10th century. The akṣara ra is generally written with two vertical strokes.
