Commentary

The width of the missing parts follows the number of dots in the editions (one akṣara per dot); this, however, is but a very approximate value. Interestingly, the line numbering differs between the two editors, the first line being split into two by J. Ramayya Pantulu who omits line 10 according to N. Lakshminarayan Rao.

Bibliography

The inscription was noted in A. R. No. 169 of 1917 and first published by J. Ramayya Pantulu with few metadata and without translation and picture (1948: page 112, № 217). The reading was improved by N. Lakshminarayan Rao (1948: page xliv).
