3 yō ha[?9*] • The number of dots does not reflect the actual number of necessary characters. For the completion of the second pāda six more syllables are necessary, and 16 more for pādas c and d.

Commentary

Lines 1-3 of face A appear to reflect a separate inscription that ends in one of the typical Sanskrit imprecation ślokas. Without consulting the stone or estampage, however, this can not be fully clearified. The editors did not mention anything about different script ductus.
