Translation

Commentary

The inscription contains at its top the depiction of an animal that may be a boar or a bull. It is stated in RRM that the slab has been broken irregularly as a result of which the first five lines have lost a number of letters along the right margin and lines 7-15 have lost a few letters along the left margin1971-1972, page 157. Hence, the number of dots in the edition is not indicative of any definite number of akṣaras and have not been reproduced here.
