1-5Be it well. (On the date specified), when Piyaṇa, who seeing the murders of Maleya Rājakka and his father-in-law(/maternal uncle), fought and killed them both, stabbing with his dagger, was ruling: —

6-9When Tailapa-Dēva was ruling the kingdom, and was king of Banavāsi, — Banūrayya had this pillar made.
