1 Prosperity! Fortune!

1-5 In the name of our army commander (ceṉāpatikaḷ), this land is given so that the hereditary rights of the land (kāṇi) of our army commander [which belonged to] the landholder (uṭaiyār) from Rājarājapaṅkalanāṭu, alias Kaṇṭarātittaṉ Ceṭṭi [of the court of king] Kōṉēriṉmaikoṇṭāṉ [are transferred] to the managers of the sacred temple (cīkāriyañ ceyvārkaḷ) of the Lord of Tiruvāṉpaṭṭi.

5-11 The paddy that he gave for the Paṅkuṉi festival [dedicated] to this God, he gave to Viṇṇāḷaṉ (?) three pots of paddy seeds [obtained] from the plot to the east of the Koṅkakulavalli cross-channel and north of the Atirācarācaṉ canal in Civapāta-cēkara-maṉṉaṟai located in Nallūr. [This is a plot under the charge of] Nācci (?) and the assembly of Vīrakeraḷanallūr, alias Kovanputtūr, in Pērūr-nāṭu [is as follows.]

11-22 So that there be (āka↓1) expenses amounting to twenty-four pots of paddy through↓2 the share claimed by the landholder (mēlvāram) [covered] by twenty pots of paddy seeds, [the following is provisioned].

  • [For] the sacred rice food-offerings: one kalaṉ, one tūṇi, and one patakku of paddy, which includes four side-dishes [for] one tūṇi and one patakku .
  • For the maṭam: fifteen tūṇis and six nāḻis of paddy , which includes one side-dish per four pots of rice.
  • For the temple priests (nampiyār) who perform the worship (pūcikkum), the garland maker (toṭuppāṉ), and the picker of flowers (paṟippāṉ) for the garland of the idol (tiruppaḷḷi tāmam), and those who play the holy flute (tirukkuḻal paṇi ceyvār): one kalaṉ and one tūṇi of paddy.
  • For the temple priests who perform the worship, , six nāḻis, one tūṇi, and 15 pots of paddy, which include a side-dish per four pots of rice.
  • For the mendicants (āṇṭārkaḷ) [who live in] the sacred street: two ṭūṇi and one patakku of paddy.
  • For four nāḻis ... for the sacred oil lamp (tiruviḷakk’ eṇṇai): four kalams of paddy.
  • For the singers of holy hymns (tiruppatiyam pāṭuvōr) and the dancers (naṭṭuvaṟ): one tūṇi of cooked rice (pataṟku) at the rate of (?) of two pots of paddy seeds, after taking one tūṇi of cooked rice (pataṟku) [for themselves (?)].

23-24 This donation is to be implemented under the protection of the Śaiva devotees (paṉma ecuvar).
