1-2 According to the pious edict (dharma-śāsana) in favour of the Lord Kailācanātar↓1 that Vēṅkaṭattiri Attaṉ, alias the officer (kaṟtar) for [sacred] services (kāriyam) of the glorious ... king Tirumalai ... and the trustees (sthāṉattar) [of] the Temple of Kāmākṣiyammaṉ, so tha there be (āka) merit for king Tirumalai, the great king, the boundaries to place (for) Kāmākṣiyammaṉ, are [as follows]: ...

2 In the land comprised within these four boudaries ... there should be ...

2 For daily ... of oil in the glorious Temple of Kāmākṣiyammaṉ ... there should be ...

2 If there are persons who do harm (akitam) [to this donation, they will incur] the sin of killing a tawny cow on the bank of the Ganges.
