↑1. It is not clear whether the i prefixed to yāṇṭu is epenthetic or deictic. In the latter case it would refer to the year, similarly
the fifth, of Parakesarivarmn, in which another record (SII 4.141) nearby is dated
to. The present inscription is found right of entrance into the garbagṛha of the Cukavaṉēśvara, whereas SII 4.141 is found left of entrance.
