In two inscriptionsns at Tiruvoṟṟiyūr (Nos. 158 and 161 of 1912) a certain Vayiramēkaṉ alias Vāṇakōvaraiyaṉ, the son of Perunaṅkai or Cami Akkaṉ is mentioned in the reign of the Pallava king Aparājita, and since in the present inscription a Vāṇakōvaraiyaṉ Vayiramēkaṉ is stated ,to be the son of Siddhavaṭavaṉ he may be different from the former."
