    1-2 Tenth [year] of the victorious king Narasiṁhavarman. 

    2-8 Paṉaiyaṉār of Ciṟṟupāṭi, the servant [of] Perum-pāṇāti-y-araicar, the king [of] Kōvalūr in Mīvēṇṇāṭu, fell when seizing sheep (maṟi↓1) [and] cattle.
