    1 [Fortune!]

    1-2 Ninth year of the victorious king Para[me]śvaravarmaṉ.

    3-8 Mukaṉ , the son [of] Pāratāyar, the lord of Mēṟceṅkai↓1 , fell recovering cattle, when [Va]miṟaiyār , a temple dignitary (kōyil paṭṭar) in Iḷakkōvūrnāṭu in Vēṇāṭu, came and seized cattle.
