    1-14 [ca. 4 lines lost This is] the stone [of] Tāḷaccāmi, the son [of] Vaḷiyappūṟār, the servant [of] Poṉṉarampaṉār, [he who fell] when Poṉṉarampaṉār, the nephew [of the royal Bāṇa king], went (ceṉṟu) ... (* (ṟa)la-p-puñci↓1) ¿[against]? Kantaviṇṇaṉār, the nephew of the royal Bāṇa king.

    Commentary

    Poṉṉarampaṉār and Kantaviṇṇaṉār are mentioned in several other inscriptions (IP 282, 283, 285 ), on the basis of which the present inscription is interpreted and its missing text supplied.
