4-9 [This is] the stone [of] Kākaṇṭi Aṇṇāvaṉ, the servant of Poṉṉarampaṉār, he who fell recapturing (iṭuvittu↓2) cattle when Kantaviṇṇaṉār, the nephew of the royal Bāṇa king seized cattle [in] kūṭal.
10-12 [This is] stone that the ¿people? (iḷa-makkaḷ↓3) of Kūṭal had planted.
