    2-3 2nd year of the glorious Vayiramēkavarman↓1.

    3-16 ... we, the village delegates of Palkalam.

    16-18 To him, we have given whatever ...

    18-22 We have given ...

    22-26 We have given ...

    26 We have given [so], we, the village delegates of Palkalam.

    27 The glorious feet of he who protects this pious act are on my head.

    27-28 He who destroy this pious act befalls in the sin of he does [sin] in the space [between] Ganges and Kanyā.

    28-29 These are the writng of Iḷaṅkāvaṉ, the son of the great carpenter [of this] stone temple↓2.
