    1 Prosperity! Fortune!

1-2 Seventh year of the victorious king Aparājitavarman.

3-7 The gold that ... has given for burning one perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr: tirthy kaḻañcus of a purity [tested] on the village [touch]stone.

7-10 We are bound to take this gold, we, the members of the assembly, and we, the Amṛtagaṇattārs of Ātampākkam, in a hamlet of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr, in the Puliyūrkkōṭṭam.

11-18 We have become those who will give ...

18-21 We have become those who will give daily two rice [meals] to he who comes ...

21-24 If failing ... we have become those who incur a fine of eight and a half kāṇams ...

24-26 We have become those who will ...

26-30 We have become those who will ... we, the members of the assembly, and we, the Amṛtagaṇattārs of the above-mentioned Ātampākkam.
