    Apparatus

    6–7 tiru-v-amu[tuk]/kumtiru-v-amu[3*]/kum VVA • The restoration tiruvamutiṟkum is also possible.
    8 ma[kaḷ]ma[2*] VVA • This restoration has been suggested by Mahalingam 1988, who further commented: "If this restoration is valid, then the present record provides an early instance of the prevalance of the institution of temple maid-servants."
