    1 (Prosperity! Fortune!)

    1-2 Ninth year of the victorious king Kampavikramavarman. 

    2-6 The gold that Pallavatiyaraiyar alias Amarniti, an ūraṉ of Kañcanūr in Kañcanūr in the Intaḷūrnāṭu in the Cōḻanāṭu has given for the lighting of a perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr: thirty kaḻañcus of fine gold [measured against] the village-stone;

    6-10 the gold that ... has given for the lighting of a perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of Tiruvoṟṟiyūr: thirty kaḻañcus of fine gold [measured against] the village-stone; while there are (āka) [such donations].

    10-18 Taking these sixty kaḻañcus of gold ... we have become we who will give ...
