    Translation by Emmanuel Francis

    1 Prosperity! Fortune!

    2-5 Second year of Kampavarman.

6-9 We, the villagers of Porpontai in the Kuṟumpuraināṭu in the Kaḷattūrkkōṭṭam.

10-19 To Valiyāṇai of our village, for the great tank of Malaiveḷḷam, we have given, after purchase, as a pious act, one kāṭi of paddy per paṭṭi.

19-27 We who [...], we have become those who incur a fine of twenty-four ⟨kāṇams⟩↓1 at the dharmāsana.

27-31 We who [...], we have become those who incur the sin of he who destroys Kaccippēṭu.

31-34 The feet of he who protects this pious act are on my head.
