2-6 Twenty-first year of Nantippōttaraiyar who destroyed Teḷḷāṟu.
6-13 The gold given for burning two lamps for the Lord Mahādeva of Tiruppāṟṟurai [is] sixty kaḻañcus.
13-20 With this gold, We, the members of the assembly of Tiruppāṟṟurai are those who will have two perpetual lamps lit without default.
20-21 This is under the protection of the Pa[ṉmāheśvara]s.
This appears to be a later copy of an original of the 9th century, as indicated by Cōḻa-period placenames (updated to the time of the copy).
