    Apparatus

    1 kāliyū • The inscription stops short here (Subrahmanya Aiyer 1928: page 158, note 1). Evidently kāliyūr-k-kōṭṭatu was intended, followed presumably by taṉ kūṟṟu Uttaramēru-c-caturvvetimaṅkalattu sabhaiyōm or a variant of it. Compare other inscriptions from Uttiramērūr.
