5ytu sa(r)vva-parihāram koṇṭu koṭu-
6ttōm mēlālum koṭukka-p-pi-
7¡ḷḷ!⟨ḷ⟩aika¡ḷḷ!⟨ḷ⟩ itu k(ā)tt(ā)r Aṭi muṭi mēliṉa
8koṭukka-p-piḷḷaikaḷ paṇiyāl mā-
9ṇikka-p-paṇṭāraṅ-kāppāṉ
10ciṅkaḷamey{ar}-kāppaṉ Arituṭṭa-
11ṉ vantu ceyvittatu
Prosperity! Fortune!
To the koṭukkappiḷḷais (koṭukkappiḷḷaikaḷ) [at the service of] Nantippōttaraiyar:
"[We,] the ūrārs of Uḻalūr, according to (paṭi) the makaḷmai, after having made a request to the lord (perumāṉaṭikaḷukku), we have given with (koṇṭu) all immunities."
As per the above (mēlālum), the koṭukkappiḷḷais:
“The feet of he who protects this (donation) are on [our] heads (literally: tufts)."
At the order (paṇi-y-āl) of the koṭukkappiḷḷais, (this is) what Arituṭṭaṉ, the guard (kāppāṉ) of the gem-treasury (māṇikka-p-paṇṭāram) and guard of the body of the Siṁhala [king OR: the Siṁhala body-guard from] (ciṅkaḷa-mey-kāppaṉ) , after coming, had made.
