    Commentary

    Copies of the same inscription, likewise with a rectangular frame (single-lined or two-lined), are found in Malayakkōvil (INSPallava00025 = IP 25) and twice in Tirumayyam (INSPallava00031 = IP 25; INSPallava00514).
