1 Prosperity! Fortune!
1-2 14th year of the king Rājakesarivarman, who, after having distributed pots in the cālai of Kantaḷūr, took the country of the Gaṅga, the country of the Nuḷampa↓1 and the Taṭikaivaḻi.
2-3 [There are] ten kaḻañcus of gold that Kantaṉ Kaṟṟaḷi, [one among] the tēvaputtiras of this temple, gave for one perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of the glorious Aintaḷi of Kotumpāḷūr in the Uṟattūr-k-kūṟṟam.
3 [There are also] nine kaḻañcus of gold that [... gave for ... of] the glorious temple↓2 (kōyil) [of] this temple (it-taḷi).
3-4 Let [these] be kaḻañcus of gold that the coin-tester of this temple takes↓3.
4 This [donation is under] the protection of the Paṉmāheśvarars.
3 (I)t-taḷi-t tiru-k-kōyil. Note the use of the synonyms taḷi and kōyil, the first to designate the entire complex made of five temples and the second to designate one of these five temples.
